Pete loved painting musicians and created a series that included icons like Bowie, Bob Marley, and Jimi Hendrix. He chose an intriguing palette, often using a dark blue for skin tones—possibly inspired by the Gaelic term for a Black man, Fear Gorm, which translates to “Blue Man.”
