More about the Robin Hood Tax
This proposed tax on the financial sector had the power to raise hundreds of billions globally every year. It could have given a vital boost to the NHS, our schools, and the fight against child poverty in the UK, as well as tackling poverty and climate change around the world. Pete worked to in parallel with this campaign drive and tied it in with his Anti-Greed Give-away.
In response to the financial crisis, Pete staged an 'Anti Greed Giveaway' in the city of London and Dublin in Mar of 2011. Highlighting greed through generosity, he gave away over 600 pieces of original work.
