The GAZA A to Z project
Donate 30 euros to our friends in Gaza and we will gift you limited edition print.
Pete Dunne created this powerful work decades ago, pre internet, when finding a map of Gaza meant trekking to the British Library in King’s Cross. Inspired by the "London A to Z" — the iconic pocket map everyone carried before smartphones — Pete’s take was shining a light on the situation in Gaza back then in the 80's — and it’s shocking how fiercely it still speaks today.
We, his tribe family, went from feeling powerless to this print jolting us awake — like Pete himself sending a message from beyond: ‘Art from the past — a lifeline in the present.’ That sparked this simple but effective idea: we’ve printed 100 A4 Gaza A to Z prints. If you donate €30 or more to our friend, Ibrahim Abu Rida (Abu) — who lives in southern Gaza and uses every cent to help his family and neighbours — we’ll gift you a print as thanks. This is direct, grassroots support: no middlemen, just our community helping his. [Click here to learn more about Abu]
It’s powerful — decades after Pete made this piece and even though he’s no longer with us, his art still impacts: currently helping to feed families, and connecting our community to theirs.
That’s very Petey.
