Kim Wrong Un
What started as an idea for a two-painting series—featuring Kim Jong Un and Donald Trump side by side in a 1960s hair salon, both getting their hair done—took a different turn. In the end, Pete couldn’t quite bring himself to paint Trump, but he did finish “Kim Wrong Un,” now up on the wall in the Pete Dunne Studio. The piece was meant as a conversation starter, nodding to the fact that Kim once decreed all men in his country should adopt his hairstyle.
